INITIAL Placement of DIVA implant - tooth 26, 27

Removal of the first valve screw

With the attached special driver, unscrew & remove the first valve screw (the long one) located within the device. Bleeding indicates the apex of the implant has penetrated the sinus floor

Rinsing of the sinus cavity

Attach a filled saline syringe to the cannula, gently introduce 1cc of saline to the implant to rinse the sinus, repeat several times inserting the implant each time deeper into the bone

Injection of TCP paste via the DIVA implant

Detach the saline syringe from the cannula & then attach the CERASORP PASTE TCP syringe. Use this apparatus to inject the TCP via the implant (approx. 0.5cc/implant)until the excess overflows Use the attached driver & screw in the first valve screw to expel the remaining TCP from the inner tunnel of the implant and then rinse with saline and remove the valve screw

X-ray to verify correct seating of cover screws and elevation of the Schneiderian membrane
